Programming Methods
The remote control can be programmed from the original remote control or from the receiver unit.
Remote-to-remote programming:
1. Open the casing of your new remote control and the casing of your remote control that has already been programmed.
2. Connect your already-programmed remote control and your new remote control as indicated in fig 1 in the instructions. The LED light on your new remote control and the LED light on your already programmed remote control illuminate.
3. Press button 1 on your new remote control. Keep it pressed down. The LED on your already programmed remote control turns off. Let the button go.
4. Press button 2 of your new remote control. Keep it pressed down. The LED light on your new remote control turns off. Let the button go.
5. Your new remote control is programmed.
Receiver-based programming:
1. Disconnect your receiver. It is located next to your motor.
2. Open the casing of your receiver.
3. On the receiver circuit board, connect the remote control as indicated in the diagram above (1). The LED light on the receiver illuminates.
4. Press the button you wish to program on your new remote control. Keep it pressed down. The LED light on the receiver turns off. Let the button go.
5. Wait 10 seconds.
6. Your new remote control is programmed.
